We had working at height, cutting and crushing of heavily reinforced support beams, installation of new steel support beams, asbestos removal and plant operating all around the site, School staff and visitors all managed safely with no accidents.
Food Manufacturing Industry:
Major Food Manufacturer within the Canned food sector
We were requested to attend site to work alongside the site health and safety team to initiate risk assessments of all the site machinery as required under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER). All the site machinery and equipment was assessed and working with the engineering department all safety issues identified during the risk assessment were prioritised and action taken accordingly to rectify the safety issues. This project has now been ongoing for two years; we now regularly return to site to monitor and update the risk assessments as remedial work is carried out or new equipment installed.
